BARR, Elizabeth "Betty" Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Monday July 18th, 2005. Betty (Brookes) Barr at the age of 93 years. Betty was predeceased in 1967 by her loved husband Wm. James Barr. She was the cherished mother of Beverly (Dave) Brears of Winnipeg, Ken (Jean) Barr of Perth, Sandra (Reg) Malachowski of Oshawa and Joy (Don) Lumsden of Dawson Creek B.C. Betty will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Gary, Dennis, Garth, Katherine, Cara, Jim, Karen, Ron, Sheila, Jo-Ann, Heather and Heath and her 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandson Shane, brother Frank Brookes and sisters Annie Macbeth and Kathleen Lavigne. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, Wednesday July 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
