IERULLO, Mary Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at St. Patrick's Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, Mary Parrotta, age 85, beloved widow of Vincenzo Ierullo. Loving mother of Peter (Paula), Anthony (the late Maureen) and Angela. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Frank (Vittoria), Rachela (the late Caesare Santaguida). Predeceased by brothers-in-law Giuseppe (Vittoria), Vito (Teresa), Domenico (Stella), Caesare (Frances), Bruno (Rosa) and sister-in-law Rosa (Bruno Santaguida). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was the "First Italian Woman Real Estate Broker of Canada". She was the first female interpreter in Ottawa for the courts and one of her proudest achievements was initiating and volunteering at the first Italian prenatal clinic at the Civic Hospital. Special thanks to her many family and friends for their endless support. She will be dearly missed by her extended family at St. Patrick's Home. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (Centretown), Thursday from 1 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Anthony's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Entombment Capital Memorial Gardens.
