IRVING, John Douglas "Doug" Suddenly, as the result of an aircraft accident, doing the thing he loved best on Tuesday July 19, 2005 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Betty. Father of Gerry (Karen) and Carrie (Joel). Grandfather of Julia. Survived by his sister Dora and brothers, Ted (Evelyn), Bill, George (Kit), Harold and Bob (Judy). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Isobel and brother Ron (Ella). Doug will be sadly missed by his many dear friends. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.), on Saturday July 23, 2005 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. At the family's request there will be no funeral service.
