SCHARF, Ruth (nee Strolovitch). On Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Michael Blumenstein, Judi and Joe Turkel, Ian and Joyce Scharf. Cherished grandmother of Jay and Rob Blumenstein, Hayley Turkel, and Marcy Turkel and Caleb Van Wyk, Grace and Lily Scharf. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Dave and Fay Strohl, Shirley and the late Harry Strohl, the late Frank and the late Fanny Strohl, and the late Charlie Strohl. Sister-in-law of Pearl and the late Hy Haber. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Nora, Merriam, Rose and Nena for their extraordinary care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon on Friday, July 22 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Gan Shalom Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva private.
