Joseph Hilary WERNIKOWSKI

WERNIKOWSKI, Joseph Hilary Passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Maureen for fifty-five years. Loving father of Nicholas, Elicia, Stephen (Connie) and Michael (Suzanne). Loving brother to Stephanie (Jennie) Stone. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Katrina, Mark, Joseph and Noah. Our loss is shared by his many nieces and nephews especially Don Timpson, Linda Page, and Diane Kealey. He was the youngest of five children. Predeceased by his parents Basyl Wernikowski and Eufenia Kiszkau, his brother John, sisters Mary Timpson and Bertha Stone. Joseph served as a loyal public servant for thirty-eight years until his retirement in 1987. He served as a former chairman for a new addition to St. Monica's School. He was a survivor of cancer and did volunteer work for the Cancer Society. One of his many joys was gardening. Joseph will be remembered and deeply missed by all that knew him. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (Barrhaven) Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Monica's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
