MacDONALD, J. Daniel Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Sunday, July 24, 2005. J. Daniel MacDonald of Alexandria, age 96 years. Beloved husband of Christena MacDonald (nee Campbell). Dear father of Donald Ian MacDonald (Patricia) of Wawa and Allan MacDonald (Patrice McKenzie) of Oakville. Loving grandfather of Scott (Shannon Ireland), Tonya, Tyson (Michelle), Andrew, Tristan McKenzie (Simon Leung) and Melissa McKenzie (Simon Wells). Proud great-grandfather of Mykelti, Elijah, Maeva, Lachlan and Ethan. Survived by his brother Lloyd MacDonald and predeceased by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street, Alexandria (525-2772) on Tuesday, July 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
