GORDON, Effie (nee Middlemiss). At the Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown on July 25, 2005 passed away Mrs. Effie Gordon nee Middlemiss, aged seventy-eight years. Beloved wife of the late Ira Gordon. She leaves to mourn her children David (Barbara Wright), Lyall (Marilyn Darby), Bobby (Sylvie Ener), Joyce Anne, Allan (Brenda Derouchie), her stepdaughter Eileen Feeny, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother Robert and her sisters Florence and Frances, also many relatives and friends. Forty year member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 81. Visitations will be held at the Kelly G.S. Funeral Home Inc., 19 Lake Street, Huntingdon on Wednesday, July 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, July 28 from 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at the Huntingdon United Church at 11 a.m. Burial at the Hillside cemetery.
