MARTEL, Art (Owner of Art's Fuels, Carleton Place) Suddenly, on Monday, July 25, 2005 at age 54. Arthur Donald Martel, loving husband and best friend of Marie. Dear step-father of Jennifer (Tom) Coyne and Jamie Munro (Tasha). Proud poppa of Mackenzie and Logan. Dear brother of Judy Reavie (Morris), Pascal, Patrick (Mila), George (Guylaine) and Philip. Loved son-in-law of Jack and Bobbie McCormack and brother-in-law to Jean Crowder, Skip (Judy) McCormack, Kevin (Suzy) McCormack and Ann Marie Kehoe-Martel. Survived by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Myrtle (Thompson) Martel and by his brother Peter Martel. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral Friday to St. Mary's Church, 28 Hawthorne Avenue, Carleton Place for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. In memory of Art, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diamond Foundation would be appreciated.
