Nancy I. Banks FREDERICTON, NB - The passing of Nancy Iris Banks of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 84. Born in Sutton-Surrey, England on March 4, 1921, she was a retired Geriatric Nursing Assistant, a member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church as well as the Central NB Welsh Society and the Welsh Choir. She is survived by three sons, David O'Blenis (Bonnie) of Riverview, Richard O'Blenis (Debbie) of Bathurst, NB and Tom O'Blenis (Diana) of Noonan, NB; two daughters, Wendy Middleton (Norman) of Petitcodiac and Georgina Raynes (Wayne) of Moncton; grandchildren, Malcolm, Janet, Michael, Chris, Nicholas, Craig, Freddie, Kristina, Hugh, Bradley, Dylan, Jennie, Sharon, Kimberly, Tracey, Kelly, Todd, Shawna and Nancy; 15 great grandchildren; cousins in the U.K. and New Zealand. Also survived by special friends, Vicki Little of BC, Eva (Ladds) Seeley of Nashwaak Village, NB and Rev. Reg Miller and wife, Monica of Fredericton. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Irvine J. Banks; a great granddaughter, Natasha Middleton and cousins. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Monday, August 1, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Brunswick Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating, assisted by Rev. Reg Miller. Interment in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
