Jessie Park April 15, 1917 - August 01, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Isabel on August 1, 2005 at the Oakview Place Care Home. Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Linda (Brian), Nancy (Gino); son Rick (Wendy); grandchildren Heather, Michael, Justin, Ida, and Paul; sisters-in-law Kay Park and Betty Harris; sister Ruth (Harold) Hosford; nieces and nephews, Ruth Wilson, Craig (Chizuko) Harris, and Patrick Hosford. She was predeceased by her husband Richard; parents George Francis Harris and Isabel (nee Graham); brothers Frank and George Harris. Isabel worked at Picardy’s Bakery and CNIB catering. She was a lifelong member of Harrow United Church. Isabel attended LaVerendrye, Earl Grey and Kelvin schools. She enjoyed her family, bingo, travel, horse racing, and dancing. Isabel was long time resident, 22 years of Fred Tipping Place and spent the last 2 and a half years at Oakview Place. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place Care Home, including 1st and 2nd floors for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Harrow United Church, 955 Mulvey Avenue with reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, Unit 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or to a charity of your choice.
