William Whittal May 18, 1920 - August 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home Whittal, William “Bill” 85 years, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2005 at Beaumont Hospital , Royal Oak, Michigan. Loving and devoted husband for 63 years to Verlyne (nee Bertrand. Sorely missed by his children Greg and Rita; Jeff and Debbie; Kevin ; Brent and Carin; Suzanne and Gerry Kameka. Will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Kirk and Anita; Megan and Stephen; Jason and Erin; Jaclyn and Ross; Ian and Stephanie; Katrina; Bryanna; Ryan; Amanda. Dear great grandpa of Brendan and Cian. Beloved brother of Frances and the late Stu; Paul and Mary. Beloved brother-in-law of Terry Bertrand and the late Si, and Jean Bertrand and the late Norv. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Norma and sisters Eleanor, Marion, N. Jeanne. Will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Bill was known as a salesman extraordinaire in the car retail business for 46 years. He was the proprietor of Whittal Motors Ltd in Amherstburg for many years. He retired from the car retail business at the age of 74. A special thank you is expressed to the Physicians, Nurses and all the staff at Beaumont Hospital 6th floor east CCU for their outstanding care and compassion. At Bill’s request there will be NO VISITATION or Funeral Services. Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundations or charity of one’s choice. You may leave your online condolences at www.obituariestoday.com. A tree will be planted in memory of William Whittal in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
