COFFEY, THOMAS JOSEPH The death of Thomas Coffey of Fredericton, NB, occurred Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Henry and Agnes Coffey. Survived by his wife Ruth (Astles) Coffey of Fredericton, NB; son, Shawn (Carol) Coffey of Rusagonis, NB; grandchildren, Lindsay and Matthew Coffey; step-brother, Cyril Coffey of Newfoundland; sisters, Frances McGrath of Newfoundland, Marie Paul (Michael) of Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, sisters Bride and Margaret Coffey, brothers Eddie and Brian Coffey. There will be no visitation by request. A private family Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 4 pm from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ken Weir will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
