Van Linh Nguyen February 15, 1929 - September 12, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) NGUYEN, Van Linh - 76. Linh passed on peacefully in his sleep in QEII Health Sciences Centre on September 12, 2005, after a long battle with kidney disease. Born in Vietnam, he immigrated to Canada in 1975 and worked as a ship mechanic for National Sea Products and the Halifax Shipyards, after which he ran a successful business. Linh was a hardworking, generous man who cared dearly for his children. He will be sadly missed by his wife, 12 children, many grandchildren and many dear friends.
