Wallace Crossman September 18, 1901 - September 15, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Wallace Crossman age 104, of Truro passed away Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Glades Nursing Home, Halifax, N.S. Born in Ward's Brook, Cumberland Co., he was a son of the late Sam and Avia (McCulley) Crossman. He was a resident of Parrsboro for several years and then moved to Truro where he resided until this summer. He was a cook by trade and worked in several areas of Nova Scotia. He is survived by his daughter Verna (Crossman) (Weeks) Dowe of Amherst, one son Ross of Truro, one sister Haley (Gordon) Best of Saint John, N.B., two grandsons James and Harold Dowe, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his wife the former Lila Brown, one sister Mary Dunphy, four brothers Harris, Jim, Bob and Sammy, and six grandchildren. His family will receive visitors at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) from 1 - 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005 followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Mitchell Lewis will officiate.
