Robert Edward Bateman Jr. Robert Edward Bateman Jr. died suddenly on September 12, 2005. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his daughter Veronica, granddaughter Akaida, mother Joann, grandmother Margaret Barker, sisters Margaret (Terry), Linda (Ed), Heather, brothers George, Ray, Tom, Dave (Wanda), Brian and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Robert's kindness and personality will be remembered always. We'll miss you. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Wednesday, September 21 at 10 :00 a.m. Private interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery.
