VILLEMURE, Frère Percy, FIC (Gabriel-Antoine, 1930 - 2005) Le 8 août 2005, est décédé à l'hôpital de Portland ME, É.U., Frère Percy Villemure, des Frères de l'Instruction chrétienne. Il était âgé de 75 ans dont 59 années de vie religieuse. Percy Villemure, fils d'Antony Villemure et de Gracia Girard, est né à Trois-Rivières, le 29 mai 1930. Il entra au noviciat de Pointe-du-Lac en 1946 et fit profession perpétuelle en 1952. Il enseigna en Mauricie, particulièrement dans les centres de formation des futurs religieux de sa communauté. Par la suite, comme responsable de l'infirmerie de La Prairie, il déploya pendant plus de vingt ans un dévouement inlassable au service de ses confrères malades. En 1997, il se rendit à Alfred ME (É.U.), où il exerça le service de pastorale auprès des aînés de la région.Outre sa famille religieuse, il laisse dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs: Muguette, Gilles (Louise Bouchard), Mireille (Émile Brisson), Sr Constance des Missionnaires Notre-Dame d'Afrique, Colette, Nicole, Lily (Gilles Lanctôt), Denise (Henry Stuparyk), Dianne (Aubert Martin), Pierre (Brigitte Héroux), Alain (Ginette Gravel), Reine (Jacques Lafrenière), Gaétane (Fernand Morin). La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à la : Maison des frères de l'Instruction chrétienne 870, chemin de Saint-Jean, La Prairie le mardi 16 août de 15 à 17 heures et de 19 à 21 heures. Les funérailles auront lieu au même endroit le mercredi 17 août, à 14 heures (Salon ouvert à 13 heures). Later as Director of the La Prairie infirmary, he spent over 20 years in devoted service to his sick confreres. In 1997 he devoted himself to the elderly in the Biddeford area.A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Brother's Chapel at Notre Dame, Shaker Hill Road, Alfred, where relatives and friends are invited to call one hour prior to the Mass. A funeral Mass and burial will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 17 in La Prairie, Canada. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
