Fernand FORTIN

Fortin, Fernand - The family sadly announces his peaceful death on June 23, 2005 at his home in Orléans, after a long illness. Born September 7th, 1933 to the late Aimé and Laéticia Fortin of Val Rita. Beloved husband of Églantine née Lefebvre. Loving father of Lola (Jean-Pierre Dallaire) of Smooth Rock Falls, Nicole (Réjean Godin) and Louise (Gilbert Mondoux) of Kapuskasing, Daniel (Diana Cyr) of Timmins, Gilles (Catherine Napier) of Metcalfe and Réal (Julie Lamoureux) of Orleans and pre-deceased by daughter Carole. Cherished grandfather of fourteen grandchildren, Lorraine and Suzanne Dallaire, André, Michèle and Jean-Marc Godin, Renée and Chantal Fortin, Sophie and Anaïc Mondoux, Chanel Fortin, Roxanne and Alain Fortin, Jasmine and Alexandre Fortin and one great-grandson Benoît Godin. Brother to Rita Lozier, Maria Ouellet, Paul, Roland, Raymond, Lucien, Yvette Lepage, Maurice, Jean-Guy and pre-deceased by two brothers Edouard and Louis. A service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Kapuskasing. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or The University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
