Donald A. Colpitts Donald A. Colpitts, 86, of Moncton and formerly of Pointe Du Chene passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Colpitts Settlement, Donald was the son of the late Alexander (Sandy) and Rhoda (Morton) Colpitts. Donald was a retired C.N.R. machinist with 40 years service, member of Moncton First Church of the Nazarene. Donald will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Isabel E. (Lewis) Colpitts; twin daughters, Rachel Hopper (Michael), Boundary Creek, Roberta Carter (Dennis), Upper Coverdale; sons, Thomas (Sue), Lakefield, ON, Brian (Sheilla), Moncton; grandchildren, Troy, Trent, Tracy, Scott, Mark, Lisa, Derek; great grandchildren, Amanda, Cassidy, Kalli, Brianna, Daxton, Schuyler, Kyle, Jayden, Tyler, Emily, Caitlin; several nieces and nephews. Donald was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by his sisters, Gladys Hopper, Willa Wilson, Kathleen Gladstone, Marion Bannister, Gertrude Beaman; brothers, Jim, Paul, Austin & Allison Colpitts. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, August 9, 2005, 1:30pm, Rev. Gary Cowper officiating. Reception following the service. Interment at Fair Haven Cemetery.
