OSBORNE, ETHEL - The death of Ethel Osborne of St. Martins, widow of Murray C. Osborne occurred August 9, 2005 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. She was born at Keelerville, ON, daughter of the late Charles and Etta (Ubdegrove) Burtch. Ethel was a Deacon at the St. Martins Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Women's Guild and Women's Missionary Society. She is survived by one daughter Brenda Bouck (Larry Williams), Riverview; one son Eric Osborne (Lorna), St. Martins; three grandchildren Sammy Osborne, Joshua Williams and Emilie Williams; one brother Clifford Burtch (Wilma), Battersea, ON; three sisters Dorothy Serson, Seeley's Bay, ON, Priscilla (Pat) Boulton, Battersea, ON, Edith Eckstien of Norwalk, California; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Lewis, Saul and two sisters Genetta Wilson and Hazel Smith. Resting at the residence of Ilie Crowther, 2563 Route 111, St. Martins with visiting Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held Friday, 2:00 pm, at St. Martins Baptist Church with Rev. Peter Metcalfe officiating. Interment in St. Martins Community Cemetery. Memorials to St. Martins Baptist Church would be appreciated.
