Harry O. Jones 1930 - 2005 Harry Jones, 74, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Born in Moncton, August 20, 1930, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Gertrude (Melanson) Jones. Harry was a retired manager with the NBLC, a former member of the Lakeside Golf Club, as well as the Beausejour Curling Club. He is survived by his nephews, Thomas Brown (Brenda) of Dartmouth, NS, Cyril Alan Brown (Jean) of Brampton, ON, Christian Briggs (Sylvie) of Cochrane, AB; brother-in-law, Bob Briggs (Maxine) of Gander, NF; as well several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Janet C. (Briggs) Jones in 2001; and a sister, Frances Goguen in 1998. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Garden View Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in West Galloway Cemetery, Rexton, NB. Memorial donations to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology) or The Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
