STOREY, HAYWARD D. The death of Hayward D. Storey, husband of Eileen (Miner) Storey, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on August 9, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 6, 1939 in Doaktown, NB, he was a son of the late Osborne and Pauline (Beek) Storey. He was a retired Plumber for the University of New Brunswick. Hayward was a member of the Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton, and an avid reader. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and spending time at his camp. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Besides his wife of 47 years, Hayward is survived by two sons, Neil Munn of Edmonton, AB and Matthew Munn (Sonia) of Vancouver, BC; two daughters, Sandra Stewart (Dan) of Fredericton, NB and Cindy Munn (Paul) of Calgary, NB; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Storey (Nora) and Guy Storey (Elaine) both of Prince George, BC and Brian Storey of BC; four sisters, Gail Walke of Sydney, NS, Donna Munn (Keith) of Fredericton, NB, Sylvia Sawtell (Floyd) of Lloydminster, SK and Joy Storey of Prince George, BC; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one son, Edison Storey; one daughter, Cheryl Storey and three brothers, Beverley, Allen and Kevin. Although there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service by request; a public Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11 am from St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery "Clay Hill", Doaktown, NB with The Rev. Elaine Hamilton and The Very Reverend Dean Keith Joyce officiating. A reception will follow at St. Andrew's Anglican Church Hall in Doaktown, NB. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Ivan Storey, Freddie O'Donnell, Steven Russell, Tony Russell, Jody Munn and Evan Wyton. For those who wish, remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
