Mr. John Ferneyhough November 14, 1942 - August 05, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Nanaimo) John passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2005 while working outdoors at the job he enjoyed. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Annie, and his sister Phyllis (Angus). John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Judy, his daughter Sheila (Jesse), son Dan (Jen), brother Bill (Elaine), his many nephews and nieces and his dear friends. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. He lived life to its fullest, doing the things he loved. He was a dedicated, trustworthy and loyal husband, father and friend. A celebration of John’s life will be held Friday, August 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
