Mrs. D. June Simons (née Smiley) June 30, 1916 - August 05, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home VGH Nursing Graduate 1938 Born June 30th, 1916, in Calgary, Alberta, passed away in the arms of her Lord on August 5th, 2005, in Richmond, British Columbia. June Simons, dearly beloved wife of the late Victor A. Loving mother of Victor J. (Susan) and Elizabeth Mramor (Bob). Fondly remembered by the lights of her life, 4 grandchildren, Brock, Andrea, Stephen and Emilee. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. June will be remembered as a founding member of OSTOP society of BC, an active volunteer and a generous caregiver to many. A Prayer Service will be held at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, BC, on Tuesday, August 9th, 2005 at 7:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Parish, 8251 St. Albans Road, Richmond, BC, on Wednesday August 10, 2005 at 10:00 am. Fr. Thomas Smith, Celebrant. Cremation. Flowers gratefully declined, rather, a donation in June's memory may be made to the charity of one's choosing.
