L. Arden McMaster July 21, 1937 - August 10, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Peacefully on August 10, 2005 Arden passed away at the Grace Hospital. Arden is survived by his loving wife Doreen E. McMaster, daughter Jacqueline D. Anderson her husband Norman Anderson and grandchildren Alexander and Robyn Anderson, son Jeffery L. McMaster and his wife Judy C. McMaster. Arden was born on July 21, 1937. He was born in Winnipeg and has resided in Winnipeg, Brandon, Saskatoon, Toronto, Flin Flon, N. Delta, Victoria, Mesa Arizona and Winnipeg Beach. He was the founding partner of Christianson McMaster Adjusters. Arden was the President of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Assoc., (Manitoba Region) for 1986 and 1987 and designated a Charter Loss Adjuster in 1988. He became a lifetime member to the Honorable Order of Blue Goose International in 2002. He was Kinsman of the year in 1972 in Delta, B.C., also awarded Outstanding Presidents’ Award in 1977-78 and Outstanding Leadership Award from the Kinsmen Club of St. James Assiniboia. Arden enjoyed many hobbies that included, traveling, hunting, fishing, bridge, music, playing piano and golfing. He aced a hole in one at Sunland Village East, in Mesa Arizona. His Favorite role was being a beloved “Pop” to his Robyn and Alexander. Arden was known for conversation and good humor, quick with a joke or a story. His wit and interest in people made many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 13, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with officiating clergy Major Gordon Jarvis presiding. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace General Hospital.
