Thomas "Tommy" Durocher July 10, 1945 - August 10, 2005 DUROCHER, Thomas "Tommy" 60 Years. Died on August 10, 2005 at Huron Lodge for Seniors. Beloved son on his late parents Laurentia (nee Marentette) (1997) and Louis Durocher (1994). Dear brother of John and Anne Durocher, Simone and Ray Glowaz, Ernest and Elizabeth Durocher, Leon and Jackie Durocher, Rosemarie Durocher and Allen Pease, Vincent and Mary Durocher. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tommy was an employee of Venture Place and was a 11 year resident of Villa Maria Nursing Home. In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society or the Kidney Foundation as your expression of sympathy. The Family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Villa Maria Nursing Home and Huron Lodge for Seniors for their care and compassion they had for Tommy over the years. Visiting on Friday 2-5; 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers on Friday 7:30 p.m. Funeral on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10 a.m. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, (253-5225) then to Christ the King Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Tommy Durocher in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
