Norman Maillet 1927 - 2005 AZILDA, ON - Norman Maillet of Azilda, ON passed away in the hospital in Azilda, ON on Sunday, August 7, 2005 at the age of 78 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in St. Thomas de Kent, NB on March 20, 1927. He was the son of the late Edmond and the late Rosanna Cormier-Maillet. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Leger-Maillet; sons, Michel and Roger; six grandchildren; brother Oscar (Ethel), Saint Gregoire, NB; and sisters, Aline Babineau (late Gerard) of Cap Pelé, Catherine (Rina) Gogen (Omer) of Cocagne, NB, Fedora Landry (Norman) Maynard, MA, Georgina Maillet of Cocagne, Doris Bastarache (late Aurele) of St. Thomas de Kent, NB, Florine Allain (George) of St. Marie de Kent; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Alcide, Clarence and Laurent. Funeral Mass was held in Azilda, ON on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11:00am. [Times & Transcript]
