Gerald F. Marsh Gerald F. Marsh, 81, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 11, 2005. Born in Hildegarde, he was the son of the late Francis and Felicia Mae (Trites) Marsh. Gerald was self employed all his life, a welder by trade he operated Marsh's Welding Co. for many years along with a used auto parts business. In 1960 he started the first automobile carrier business in NB. In 1969 he opened Marsh's Mobile Home Park, which he managed until his retirement in 1988. After retirement he and his wife made clocks as a hobby, they traveled extensively with their crafts through the Maritimes and spent their winters in the south, making many friends along the way. Gerald will be sadly missed by his wife, Charlotte (Elliott) of 56 years and his two sons, Craig and Robert (Judy), both of Moncton; granddaughter, Kylie; sisters, Madge VanBuskirk (Norman), Donna Hossack (Irvine), both of Moncton; sister-in-law, Roma Elliott, Geary, NB; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by personal request. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995), Sunday August 14, 2005, 1:30pm, Rev. Alton Alexander officiating. Reception following the service. Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
