KINGSTON, ELSIE JUDITH The passing of Elsie Judith Kingston, formerly of Newcastle, and widow of Thomas M. Kingston occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on August 10th 2005. Born in Harlesden, England in 1912, she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Agnes (Barter) Chapman. She emigrated to Canada in 1919, and spent the next eighty years in Newcastle, N. B. A graduate of the Miramichi Hospital, she nursed for a number of years and later was nurse/ manager of the area's first medical clinic. She is survived by daughters; Judy Adams (Ray) of Fredericton, Joy Branch of Shubenacadie N.S, Jaclyn Kingston of Ottawa; grandchildren Samantha Branch (Jeff Temple), Shawn Branch (Jane Erskine), Ted Branch (Anne Marie Duncan), Christopher Adams (Nancy), Malcolm Duff Adams (Shannon), and greatgrandchildren Jaclyn Branch and Mackenzie Adams. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment will be held on the Miramichi.
