CLARK, OPAL - The death of Opal Clark of Victoria Glen Manor and formerly of Rowena occurred on August 11, 2005 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 79. Born in Rowena she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Winnifred Swazey. She is survived by one son Lyn Clark and Diane Tompkins of Rowena; one daughter Brenda Matthews of Atlanta; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one step great grandson; two brothers Gene Swazey of B.C. and John (Diane) Swazey of Rowena; two sisters Edith Hitchcock and Carole (Gilbert) Rossignol both of Rowena. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Clark, parents Raymond and Winnifred Swazey, son Rodney, two sisters Ella and Alice. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday August 12th from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday August 13th at 11AM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. Interment in the Rowena Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
