Mr. John Morrison Ledingham March 23, 1919 - August 09, 2005 Funeral arrangements by South Side Memorial Chapel It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Morrison Ledingham on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his daughter Lynne, son-in-law Jim and two grandsons, Cory and Jordy; as well as two sisters, Jean (Bob) Sutherland and Elsie White and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marion; parents George and Elizabeth, sister Sara and brothers Aleck, Charlie, Doug, Robert, Archie, Lloyd and Jackson. Morrison was a long time resident of Hawarden, Saskatchewan and for most of his life, farmed on the family farm just outside of town. He was a quietly proud prairie farmer who had a love for the land and a special passion for his horses. He was a devoted husband to Marion, and a wonderful father and grandfather. Most of his retirement years were spent with Marion in Saskatoon, he and Marion had relocated to Leduc, Alberta in recent years when Marion’s health failed to be closer to his daughter’s family. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Park Funeral Chapel in Saskatoon. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
