Irene Williamson April 12, 1916 - August 02, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Irene Williamson of Calgary passed away peacefully at her home on August 2, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Irene was born to mother Mary Resnechenko, and father Boris Nickoleychuk on April 12, 1916. She is survived by sister Elizabeth Siegle and brother Nicholas Nickoleychuk. She is the loving mother of Sheila Stoski, Ken Williamson, and Brenda Landry, and the mother-in-law of Julien Landry. Irene will be remembered with love by grandchildren Leah Lyons, John Stoski, Troy, Dallas, and Amber Williamson, as well as Michelle and Marc Landry. She will also be dearly missed by great grandchildren Alyssa and Morrison Williamson, and Carey and Skye Lyons. Irene will be remembered with smiles and laughter. She was dearly admired and loved. She will be greatly missed by all. Although Irene was not a resided of Maple Creek for over sixty years, she continued to receive the newspaper until the end. A Memorial Service will be held at Leyden's Funeral Home “Chapel of Remembrance” (corner of 17th Ave. & 2nd Street SW) on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
