THOMAS, FRANK MURRAY The death of Frank Murray Thomas, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on August 12, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Tay Creek, NB on February 12, 1940, he was a son of the late Frank L. and Alma E. (MacKinnon) Thomas. He was a Truck Driver for Linwood Evans. Frank and his brother Jack, are better known as the "Thomas Brothers" at Horse Hauls. He was an avid lover of horses. He is survived by two daughters, Lynda "Dolly" Rolfe (Melvin) and Stacy "Babe" Thomas both of Acton, ON; four brothers, Garnett Thomas (Rowena) of Stanley, NB, Jack Thomas (Doreen), Carl Thomas (Ann) both of Tay Creek, NB and David Thomas (Kathy) of Williamsburg; four sisters, Dorothy Boone (Allen) of Tay Creek, NB, Evelyn MacKinnon of Fredericksburg, Ellen Elliott (Vincent) of Fredericton, NB and Bonnie Thomas (Claude) of Cambridge Narrows, NB; special friend, Ina McLean of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Pallbearers are Edward Hitchman, Melvin Innes, Robert Anderson, Phillip O'Leary, Corey Thomas and Greg Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronald Evans, Linwood Evans, Allison LaPage, Darrell Geldart, John Hallett, Melvin Rolfe and Shawn MacKinnon. Interment will take place at Cardigan Community Cemetery, Cardigan, NB. A reception will be held at Woodlands Hall following the committal. For those who wish remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
