Mr. Paul Tétreault April 28, 1933 - August 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Desjardins Funeral Chapel Peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the St. Anne Hospital, Paul passed away at the age of 72 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. With great love and wonderful memories, he will be remembered by his beloved wife of 50 years Doris (nee Gagné), son Gilles (Betty), grandchildren Brittnie and Justin from Balmertown, ON; daughter Gisèle Wilson (Bruce), granddaughter Nicole from Pinawa, MB. He also leaves to mourn several brothers and sisters: Jeanne Mousseau, Lucien (Rose), Olive (Joe) Ferland, Louise Gagné, Irma Tétreault, Clairette Trudeau, Oril (Fleurette), Rachelle Hausauer, Claude (Vicki) and Yvon (Robin); his brothers and sisters-in-law: Renée Jeanson (friend Rosaire), Laurette Gagné (Norbert), François Gagné (Joyce), Gilbert Gagné (Anita), Hervé Gagné (Noella), Etienne Gagné (Arlene), Luc Tétrault, Lucie Tétrault (Roger), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents Olivier and Marie Louise Tétreault, parents-in-law Alphonse and Malvina Gagné, brothers, sisters and in-laws: Irene and Joe Wolkowski, Georgette Tétreault, Jean and Flore Tétreault, Joe Mousseau, Roland Trudeau, Olivier Gagné, Hélène Gagné, Hervé Catellier, Aimé Jeanson, Claire Tétrault and his precious grandson Jason Wilson in 2000. Paul retired from the University of Winnipeg after 27 years. Although he was an electrician by trade, he was a master “Jack of all trades”. Paul was the most wonderful kind, caring and generous man who was always there to help his family and friends. His dream was realized when he and Doris and partners Al and Rita Ryckenboer bought and developed Lee River Falls. He took great pride in building his beautiful retirement home at Lee River where he could always be found working on some project in his garage. Paul and Doris also enjoyed their winters in Texas for the past 22 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, walking, golfing, and spending as much time as possible with his family and friends. His four grandchildren were his pride and joy. The family would like to thank Dr. Fredette, the wonderful staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital for their care and compassion and Palliative Care. Liturgy of the word will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street with Deacon Gerard Desrosiers presiding.
