Gordon Alexander Ogston January 02, 1912 - August 10, 2005 Funeral arrangements by South Side Memorial Chapel In Edmonton, August 10, 2005, Alberta lost a son in his 93rd year following a full life well lived. Survived by Irene, his loving wife of 67 years, he was the devoted father of Carol, Don and Karen (Falck), grandfather of Gavin and Jana (Leonard), Ryan and Jo (Moore), Shawn and Cindy (Godin), and proud great-grandfather of Emily. He was predeceased by his mother Annie (1953), father Alexander (1965) and brother John(1995). Gordon touched the land and lives of generations of students of Alberta colleges of agriculture in Vermilion, Olds and Fairview. He lives on through our many memories of his detailed recollections of Alberta’s growth and history. Many thanks to the staff of Capital Health Grandview for their warm care and compassionate support of Gordon and family.Memorial services will be announced.
