Laura M. Brander 1924 - 2005 BAYFIELD, NB - Laura McLellan Brander, age 81, passed away at Sackville Hospital on August 13, 2005. Born in Murray Corner, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Carrie Chapman. She is survived and will be sadly missed by husband Roy; four sons, Clark (Pat) of Port Hawkesbury, N.S., Robert (Peggy) of Murray Corner, Conrad (Judy) of Riverview and Harold (Janice) of Mt. Uniacke, N.S.; one daughter, Frances (Glen) Hubbard of St. Stephen, N.B.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Stanley; brothers, Edgar, Eldon, and Aubrey; and two sisters, Grace Pauley and Mary Wood. She was a member of Wesley United Church, Bayfield. For several years she served as a director of East Botsford Recreation Council. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion Cape Tormentine Branch # 81. Her body has been forwarded for cremation. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Wesley United Church, Bayfield from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Funeral Service on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM.Interment will be in Bayfield Cemetery with a time of fellowship at the Church Hall immediately following.
