Margaret M. GAUTREAU

Margaret M. Neilson Margaret Mary Neilson, 84, of ProTem Health Services, Gorge Road, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Born in Cormier Cove, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and Modeste (Cormier) Gautreau. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Adolph (Dolph) Neilson in 1996. Marg and Dolph raised their family on Church Street in Moncton and moved to Dieppe in the eighties. Many summer and winter weekends were spent at their cottage in Caissie Cape and numerous leisure trips to Florida were enjoyed as well. In the year 2000 Margaret moved to Parkland Estates in Halifax where she lived until 2002 at which time she returned to Moncton to take up residence at ProTem. Marg had an insatiable zest for life and gracefully met any challenge. Left to mourn her passing, with emptiness in their hearts are her four children, Barb Pelletier (Gary) and David, both of Moncton, Diane and Brian (Maurice McNeille) of Halifax; as well as her two grandchildren, Kari McLellan of Charlottetown and Jonathan Neilson (Melissa); and one great grandchild, Kailey, all of Moncton. Marg is also survived by two sisters, Yvonne Gautreau, Eugenie DeYoung; as well as a special sister-in-law, Ida Gautreau, all of Dieppe. Special daughter-in-law, Elaine Longtin, Everett, Mass; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by sisters, Celina Landry and Zelica Leger; brothers, Yvon, Albert and Alfred; and granddaughter, Romanie. Special thanks to Chris and Paulette Wallace and staff at ProTem Health Services for providing such a remarkable quality of life for our mom and sharing so much laughter and love with her and with our family.
