Marguerite Rita Werstein (née Beneteau) April 06, 1925 - August 12, 2005 WERSTEIN, Marguerite Rita (nee Beneteau) 80 Years. It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother. Beloved wife of Elmer. Loving mother of Cheryll Hogue and her husband Robert, Michael Werstein and his wife Mary Lou, Allan Werstein and his wife Pamela, and Janice Tessier and her husband Mark. Beloved daughter of her late parents: Eva (nee Renaud (1969) and Ulric Beneteau (1968). Dear Mimi of Jamie, Randy, Nikki, and Kelly Hogue; Craig and Chris Werstein; Bryan, April, and Brett Werstein; Rhiana and Taylor Tessier; and 5 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her 3 brothers: Ernest, Stanley, and Vincent. Marguerite had a tremendous passion for life. Her steadfast faith could not be shaken. Her mission in life was the happi-ness of her family, her neigh-bours and her community. She instilled this love in all of us and all of those whose lives she touched. She was a member of the River Canard Golden Age Club, River Canard K of C Chumettes, C.Y.O., C.W.L., and former president of Blessed Sacrament Mission Club. In kindness, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Visiting at Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (253-5225), on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-5, 7-9 p.m. with River Canard K of C Chumettes prayers Monday 3 p.m. Dean Wagner K of C 4th Degree prayers 7:30 p.m. and parish prayers Monday 8 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: Friends are requested to meet the family at Assumption Church on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, for further visitation from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Fr. George Beaune officiating. Interment in Assumption Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Marguerite Werstein in the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Heritage Forest.
