Eugene Barry Logan August 21, 1950 - August 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) LOGAN, Eugene Barry - 54, South End, Halifax, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Sheet Harbour, he was a son of the late James and Minnie (Helpard) Logan. Barry worked at the Lighthouse Tavern, Halifax, and for many years at Cruckshanks Sheet Metal Shop. Due to Barry's illness, he was no longer able to work. Barry was a member of the Native Council of Nova Scotia. He loved the Mik'maq Childhood Development and Daycare, as well as the aboriginal adult staff. Barry loved Moose hunting and fishing, and helping others. Barry will be sadly missed by his many friends. He is survived by his brothers, Allen, Wolfville; Marcel, Halifax; Paddy, Sheet Harbour; sisters, Shirley Joyce, Lillian McCoinie, Kaye Leblanc (Martin), all of Halifax; Christine Lepage (Jerry), Musquodoboit; several nieces and nephews. Barry is also survived by his adopted daughter, Arielle; his girlfriend, Ann, both of Halifax. Barry was predeceased by brothers, Reginald, Irvin, Guy, Alex; sister, Florence Tibbo. Cremation will take place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. A eulogy will take place in the Mik'maq Daycare Centre, Wednesday, August 17, at 5 p.m. (food will be served at 4:30 p.m.). Special thanks to Yolanda, Lorraine, Lee, Tony and Mim, all of whom were very well loved by Barry. We will all miss and love you Barry Logan.
