Donald (Donny) LeBlanc Donald "Donny" LeBlanc, 68, of Moncton, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital following a lenthy illness. Born January 16, 1937 in Moncton, he was the son of the late André and Yvonne (Melanson) LeBlanc. Donny was employed at Ford's Pharmacy before retirement. A Vietnam War Veteran, he served proudly as a Medic with the US Army. He was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1310, a BINGO caller and volunteer at East-End Boys & Girls Club, and a former bus driver with Moncton Transit Co. He is survived by his beloved wife Thérèse (Belliveau) LeBlanc; two loving children, Judy and Gerry (Gisèle) of Moncton; his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nicole and her children, Kaitlyn & Dylan; Kevin (Margret) and their children, Braidyn, and Cole; Jason (Amanda) and their children, Imagen, Logan; and a sister Therese Arsenault of Moncton. A brother Raymond predeceased him. By request, no visitation. The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday August 20, 2005 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment, following cremation will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. At the request of the family, memorial donations to The NB Heart & Stroke, Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
