Gerda Helene MEHRWALD

Always young at heart, Always on the go, And though our paths did part, You'll look after us, we know! MARTINKE, GERDA HELENE (MEHRWALD) Gerda Helene (Mehrwald) Martinke, of Hanwell, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully August15, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Berlin, Germany, in 1919, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Anna Mehrwald. Gerda is survived by her husband, Rudolf "Rudi"; her three daughters, Helgrid Reckmann (Wilfried), Ontario, Gerhild Fulson (Andy), Ontario, Ingrid Wheeler (Mark), New Brunswick; her three grandsons, Andrew, Michael and Richard Fulson and her two granddaughters, Marika and Ingmara Wheeler; her two great-granddaughters, Alana and Lydia Fulson. She is also survived by her sister, Margarete "Gretchen" Brottke; her niece Ingeborg and nephews Wolfgang and Helmut. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gerhard Schudt in 1964 and her sister, Klara Sieling. She will be laid to rest at Kingsclear Kilburn Community Cemetery, N.B., on Friday, August 19, 2005. For those who wish, donations made to the Fredericton SPCA would be appreciated.
