Carmel "Betty" Elizabeth Thibeault (née Brunet) Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) On Sunday, July 24, 2005 Carmel Elizabeth Thibeault age 73 went to be with the Lord after a courageous and determined fight with ALS. Beloved and cherished wife of the late Maurice Thibeault. Survived by her brother Vincent (Ethel) and beloved sisters Eunice (the late Marcel Fortier) and Claire (Edgar Kuhn). Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brothers Linus (the late Margaret) and Ernest (the late Evelyn). A Mass of the Resurrection was held at the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Ottawa. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward’s Church, 2085 Maple Bay Road, Duncan, BC on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Father Frank Franz will be the presider at this Mass. A reception will follow in the church hall. Following the reception Elizabeth will be laid to rest beside her beloved Maurice at Mountain View Cemetery. In memoriam, donations to the ALS Society appreciated.
