Katherine Demskie April 11, 1925 - August 12, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Chapel On Friday, August 12, 2005, Mrs. Katherine Demskie of Edmonton passed on, at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank; five children, Diane (Gord) Peterson, Sharon (Doug) Wright, Frank Demskie Jr., Rod (Debi) Demskie, Randy (Barb) Demskie; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ann Shtybel, Patsy Stefaniuk, Violet Tchir; several nieces, nephews and Bill (Dorothy) Malysh. Predeceased by her father and mother, Gabriel and Elizabeth Balanecki; brothers, Harry, Nick, Alex and Steve Balanecki; sister, Emily Malysh. Prayer Service to be held Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton with a Funeral Service on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to all the nurses and Maureen of the Glenrose Hospital for their exceptional care of Katherine.
