Edna May Beattie Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home BEATTIE – Edna May, widow of Edward Beattie, passed away in Saskatoon, SK on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Edna was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2000; her father Nathan Covey in 1956; her mother Elizabeth Covey (Pretty) in 1972; four brothers Ivan, Alex, Nelson and Lloyd Covey; three sisters Nellie Spencer, Effie Cates and Mabel Scott and two sisters in infancy. She is survived by her son Richard (Joyce) Beattie, Saskatoon, SK; granddaughters Tracy (Sheldon) Ens Edmonton, AB and Keri (James) Priddell, Saskatoon, SK; sister Mildred Osborne, Calgary AB; brother Gilbert (Joyce) Covey, Balgonie, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, August 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation in Edna’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 – 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 1A6.
