Ralph Roger Flynn February 16, 1947 - August 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home * FLYNN……Ralph Roger, age 58, of Clarksville, Hants County, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at the Q.E. II New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax. Born on February 16, 1947, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Leslie and Viola (Whitehead) Flynn. Ralph, was a Provincial Deputy Sheriff in Sackville, Halifax, Windsor and Truro, totaling 24 years. He was a former carpenter and had previously owned his own carpentry business. He was well respected and will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Madeline “Maddy” Fenton; daughter, Angela Flynn-Miller, Mosherville; sons, Roger Flynn, Clarkesville; Scott (Amanda) Flynn, Stanley; a very special nephew, whom he thought of as a son, Arthur Fenton (Kim), Clarksville; he is also survived by grandchildren, Gracie and Lilly Flynn, Stanley; step-grandchildren, Damien, Stanley; Alex and Jacque Hood, Rawdon; Jessica and Jordan Parker, Hantsport; brothers, Leslie (Vera) Flynn, Three Mile Plains; Tim (Susan) Flynn, Three Mile Plains; Harley (Betty) Flynn, in Alberta; sisters, Marg (Lyle) Head, Trenton, ON; Ruby McKenzie, Cogmagun; sister-in-law, Faye Flynn, Annapolis Valley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry “Pete” Flynn. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday, August 19, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005, in St. Stephens Anglican Church, Stanley, with Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Interment in St. Stephens Cemetery, Stanley.
