Mr. Patrick Richard King March 26, 1962 - August 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) KING, Patrick Richard - 43, Dartmouth, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on August 16, 2005. Born in Windsor, Ont., he was a son of Sonja (Rugland) King and the late Kenneth King. He joined the Canadian Coast Guard after leaving school and was still a serving member. He loved spending time at the family property on Porters Lake and enjoyed fishing, reading and playing the guitar. Patrick held a certified First Aid Certificate of the highest standing. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 12 years, Sheila Thompson; son, Peter Jordon, Dartmouth; brother, David King, Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Olive King; nieces, Melissa, Amanda and Beverly, Eastern Passage. He was predeceased by his birth mother, Elizabeth (McCulloch) King. He will be greatly missed as well by all his in-laws and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19, at 2 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Mrs. Dianne Hill officiating. Reception to follow.
