Phyllis R. ESTEY

MILLS, PHYLLIS R. (ESTEY) The death of Phyllis R. (Estey) Mills, wife of the late Neil G. Mills, of Fredericton, NB occurred on August 16, 2005 at her home. Born in Nashwaaksis, NB on July 6, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rena (Jones) Estey. Phyllis worked for Eaton's order office in Fredericton for 12 years and for the Bank of Nova Scotia for 6 years. She was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church and a Charter member of the United Church Women. Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Anne Trecartin (Stephen) and Sharon Hallett (Mark) both of Fredericton, NB; five grandchildren, Annalee Brewer (Dwaine), Denise Brown (Paul), Andrew Trecartin (Melissa), Carrie Hallett (Andrew Savoy) and Gregory Hallett; two greatgrandsons, Cameron and Logan Brewer; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Estey of Fredericton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Arnold Estey. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 19th, 2005 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. H. Gil MacKenzie officiating, followed by a reception in the Fireside room. Interment will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB.
