BAGLEY, VERNON PAUL - 88; of Seal Cove, Grand Manan, N.B. passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home Wednesday morning August 17th. He was the son of the late Robert and Myrtle ( Green ) Bagley of Seal Cove, and was predeceased by his wife Florence ( 2004 ). Mr. Bagley was retired from the N.B. Department of Natural Resources where he served as the Forest Ranger and Warden , also served on the Grand Manan Fire Department as Fire Chief and as an Auxillary RCMP before retiring in 1990. A member of the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church. Mr. Bagley is survived by one son Colin ( Mary ) Bagley, North Head, one sister Esther ( David ) Benson, Deep Cove , one Grand son Stuart ( Karen ) Bagley, North Head, two great Grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation by request. at the funeral home.The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19th, at the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church, at 1:30 PM with Rev. Ward McComiskey officiating assisted by Rev. Charles Bain with interment to follow in Spruce Grove Cemetery, Seal Cove, N.B.
