Carmela SALVO

Carmela Lombardo (née Salvo) April 14, 1928 - August 16, 2005 After a lengthy illness, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Carmelo Vittorio for 45 years. Devoted daughter of Nicoletta and the late Salvatore Salvo. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Vincenzo and Carmela Salvo, Paolo and Lina Salvo, Salvatore and Adela Salvo, Carmelo and Rosemary Salvo of Hamilton, Joe and Daphne Salvo of Vancouver, Angelo and Giuseppina Lombardo of France, Maria and Giovanni Tona, Pietro Paolino and Rosetta Lombardo, Marcella and the late Lanto Cipolla, the late Giovanna and the late Carmela Lombardo all of Italy. Carmela will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Moniz and the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) Thursday and Friday 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 a.m. at All Souls Church with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
