Carmela DiLalla (née Giannetti) February 17, 1920 - August 19, 2005 Peacefully at McMaster Hospital surrounded by her loving family on August 19, 2005 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Paolo. Loving mother of Anna and Benito DiClaudio and Nicola and Vincenza. Beloved and cherished Nonna of Eusanio and Judy, Carmela and Salvatore Corso, Paola and Nicolas. Dearest Nonnina of her great-grandchildren Simona and Cristina. Sister and sister-in-law to the late Rachelina and the late Giuseppe Biello, Nicola and the late Giuseppina Giannetti, Vincenzo and Carmela Giannetti, Ausilia and Pasquale Minicucci, Giuseppe and Anna Giannetti and Anna and Mario Pellicciotta. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the staff at McMaster Hospital Ward CRCU, especially Christine for their wonderful care and compassion. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Monday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
