Mr. Howard Norman Giebelhaus November 15, 1949 - August 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home Howard Norman Giebelhaus of Sherwood Park, Alberta passed away peacefully on August 22, 2005 at the Grey Nun's Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 55 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving and devoted wife Shirley of 38 years. He also leaves two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, Shelley (Chris) Zielinski, their children Crystal and Matthew of Victoria, B.C. Noreen (Norman) Straughan and daughters, Cassidy and Tayler of Ardrossan, Dale (Sherri) Giebelhaus of Sherwood Park. Left to mourn his loss, his mother Beulah Giebelhaus of Vegreville, four sisters and two brothers, Janice (Jim) Finlin of Millet, Terry (Diane), Dennis (Shauna) of Vegreville, Ila (Bill) Forbes of Red Deer, Barbara (Denis) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Arlene (John) Sokoluk of Vegreville, and brother-in-law Jim Chilibeck of Vegreville. He also leaves to cherish his memories, numerous nieces and nephews. Howard is predeceased by his father John in 1998 and brother Philip in 1972. A funeral service will be held for Howard on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta. Public visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow funeral service at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grey Nun's Palliative Care Unit would be gratefully
